U.S. FDA Grants Clearance of Angiography Device
2006 JAN 1 - (NewsRx.com) -- Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. (TAMS) announced the U.S. Food & Drug Administration's (FDA) 510(k) clearance of its dedicated vascular system, the Infinix VC-i with large field of view (LFOV) flat panel detector (FPD). The Infinix VC-i system with LFOV FPD is Toshiba's newest angiography platform, featuring technology for vascular exams and interventional procedures.

Also available is zoom fluoro, 3-D angio capabilities and a C-arm motion capable of unique lateral coverage.
