Reflex Photonics, an early stage advanced developer of extreme high speed Light on Board(TM) connectivity solutions for semiconductor IC packaging and data transfer applications, today announced the availability of its technology-leading initial products and set its future directions.

"We are focused on the enterprise/data center and telecom optical switch/router spaces, with inter-system connectivity of up to 1000 feet. We are currently sampling our InterBoard(TM) 12 channel, 40 Gigabits per second (Gbps) line of pluggable, industry compatible, SNAP 12(TM) Multi Source Agreement (MSA) transmitter and receiver modules," said Gary Moskovitz, President and CEO.

"During the next quarter, we will be launching our follow-on InterBOARD(TM) products incorporating double data rate (DDR) channel speeds of up to 6.25 Gbps. Later this year we expect also to be demonstrating prototypes of products with both 10 and 12.5 Gbps channel speeds, achieving up to 150 Gbps modular throughput. In support of the newly-developing industry standard, we also intend to incorporate 4 channel, bi-directional Quad Small Form Factor (QSFP) MSA-compliant modules into our InterBOARD(TM) product line.

"All of our InterBOARD(TM) products are engineered to support most of the inter-system physical layer protocols such as Infiniband(TM) SDR/DDR/QDR, Fibre Channel, Ethernet and SONET/SDH," said Moskovitz.
