Rectron Semiconductor Appoints Jaco Electronics Master Distributor for Complete Product Line Featuring Rectifiers
Huntington Station, NY and Hauppauge, NY, August 12, 2008 — Jaco Electronics, Inc. (Nasdaq: JACO), a global distributor and integrator of electronic components and customized flat panel display solutions (FPD), and provider of value-added logistics services, today announced that it has forged a new master distribution agreement with Rectron Semiconductor Inc., a specialist manufacturer of power semiconductors, including a wide array of rectifiers, electronic devices that convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) found inside the power supplies of virtually all electronic equipment.
"We are excited to commence collaborating with our Long Island neighbor Jaco Electronics, and look forward to tapping into their wealth of electronic components distribution knowledge and expertise to further expand the sales of our product portfolio," stated Dennis Hickie, Vice President of Rectron Semiconductor.
