ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 5, 2006--CVI is proud to introduce the TLMB, a new Ti:Sapphire Laser Mirror, featuring high reflectivity, broadband performance and a high laser damage threshold -- three attributes not previously available in the same product.
Emily Kubacki, product manager for CVI, said, "We are very excited to be able to bring this product to the market at this time. We have developed fabrication capabilities in several manufacturing locations in order to ensure capacity for this successful product line.
"We have updated CVI's online catalog, www.cvilaser.com, to include the new products. The Web site has also been updated with several other new products, improved specifications, and additional information on custom fabrication, coating, and finishing capabilities."
The TLMB Ti:Sapphire Laser Mirror has been designed and stocked for 800 nm applications. However, this coating can be tailored for any visible (400nm-700nm) or near-Infrared (700nm-2100nm) application. Applications for this new product include: femtosecond spectroscopy, multi-photon microscopy, optical coherence tomography, materials processing, terahertz imaging, semiconductor metrology and time-resolved photo-luminescence.
