Hisense Designs Genesis Microchip's Video Controllers
Genesis Microchip, a provider of image processing technologies for flat-panel monitors, TVs and other consumer display products, announced that Hisense, a TV manufacturer in China, has designed multiple video controllers from Genesis into its newest LCD and CRT televisions.
Available in China, the new Hisense 32-inch, 37-inch and 42-inch LCD TV platforms leverage the combination of Genesis's FLI8532 (Cortez) and FLI8125 (Hudson) controllers.
"Genesis Microchip continues to set the standard in video processing quality," said Wang Jun-Chang, Hisense CTO and vice president, R&D. "That's why for both our LCD TV and CRT TV platforms, we have chosen the only video controller supplier whose technology has won three Emmy awards."
