VISION Academy User Workshop
The VISION Academy is a new feature this year. Its main target groups are mechanical engineering and plant construction companies that have had nothing to do with machine vision to date and now want to start using this technology. The program is aimed at decision-makers, project engineers and technicians from the areas of quality assurance, maintenance and machine control.
Five exciting machine vision topics will be presented daily. Based on the markets, industries and products in question, typical tasks and their special aspects will be described for all topics and important principles will be briefly explained. Tested designs and principles will show how machine vision technology works. The talks will be rounded off by presenting technical implementations based on practical examples.
Due to the overwhelming response after VISION 2007 and the market-related findings as a machine vision expert, the Vision Academy also believes that the training and further education of specialists is a major growth factor for the machine vision industry. Worldwide training standards and continuous further education are key aspects in the target atlas of the institute. The objective of being able to provide a large number of superbly trained specialists for further development of the market is demanding but realistic. Numerous enterprises, trade fair companies and media partners are supporting the Vision Academy in its training and further education campaign.
