Kingston inmedia is providing solutions for voice, data and internet satellite delivery to developing regions such as Africa. The trials enabled Kingston inmedia to gain enhancements of the outbound satellite signal to achieve increased quality and stability previously unachievable with 16QAM modulation, and to deploy remote antennae of only 3.7 meters, compared to the standard 6.5m/7.6m antennae, enabling large potential costs savings at remote sites in multicast satellite operations.
