A magazine should never be about its editors, but about serving its readers with interesting and useful information. However, it would be hard to review what has occurred in the magazine in the past 20 years without providing a note of appreciation for a few of the many individuals who helped make Advanced Imaging what it is today.
Springing first to mind is Barry Mazor, who manned the helm from 1988 to 2001. Mazor provided a tremendous contribution that cannot be overlooked. Then there was Len Yencharis, who contributed to the magazine for many years as an industry consultant and contributing editor, before serving a stint as editor in chief. There is Lee Nelson, who has written for the magazine since the 1980s (see his article on pg. 39). Len Hindus is another long-running contributor whose byline will be in the magazine in the near future. Practicality dictates that hundreds of contributors who saw their words printed on these pages cannot be thanked individually, but you have our appreciation.
