The wireless SNC-RZ30N IP camera combines network functionality with remote controlled P/T/Z capabilities for remote monitoring and Web-based attraction viewing applications. It comes equipped with a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet interface, an integrated 25X optical auto-focus zoom lens and two Type II PCMCIA slots for IEEE 802.11b-compliant wireless PC cards or to expand the camera's memory. The camera produces high-quality motion JPEG mages with a 736x480 maximum resolution and up to 30 f/sec, and can transfer images to an FTP server or to a specific e-mail address.
The final product from Sony is the BRC -300, which combines three 1/4.7-type megapixel CCDs with Advanced HAD Technology, along with a high-accuracy, wide-range P/T/Z capability. The camera has a pan range of 340° that can be covered in eight seconds and a tilt range of 120° that can be covered in 4.5 seconds. It also incorporates a built-in 48X auto focus zoom lens (12X optical, 4X digital) and accepts a range of optional interface cards (SDI, i. LINK DV Interface, fiber, RGB ) for flexible analog and digital system configurations.
