The TT1280 offers high-quality 4:2:0 HD decoding in a compact one-rack unit. With new high-value content being distributed in HD, the need for strong protection of HD signals is increasing. It is capable of supporting many of the major conditional access systems currently available on the market, thereby providing protection for the high value content being distributed in HD today. Additionally, the TT1280 can be fitted with an integrated IP interface for direct connection to an IP backbone network. Frame synchronization capabilities synchronize video to a reference source, reducing video jitter and enabling seamless switching between different decoders. The TT1280 also supports closed-caption embedding that is mandatory for ATSC stations.
