Advanced Imaging: To set the stage, what areas of the semiconductor market does your company participate in, and which imaging applications or markets do you generally address?

Don Klase, OSRAM Opto Semiconductors: OSRAM Opto Semiconductors offers opto-semiconductor products including visible LEDs, infrared LEDs, photo-sensors, OLEDs and high-power lasers that address general illumination, medical infrared imaging, automotive, military and night vision illumination.

Henry Wiechman, Texas Instruments: With its DSP-based digital-media processing solutions, TI’s Streaming Media addresses image processing needs for products that push video in and throughout the digital home. There are, of course, other groups in TI that provide analog and DSP-based imaging solutions for portable consumer electronics, automotive, video security, videoconferencing and medical applications.
