Toshiba Teli America, Inc. has appointed value-added reseller Physimetrics, Inc. (Roswell, Ga.) an authorized distributor of Toshiba Teli brand industrial imaging solutions.
"Physimetrics provides a full range of products to support Toshiba Teli's camera line, including frame grabbers, software, lenses, lighting and cables," said Ruben Uribe, Physimetrics President.

Toshiba Teli recently introduced its new Dragon series of industrial cameras:
GiantDragon™ Gigabit Ethernet cameras, a family of nine monochrome and color models leveraging the agility of the GigE Vision open standard. Physimetrics' customers can select from GiantDragon models offering up to 90 frames-per-second and resolutions as high as 1600 x 1200 (UXGA).
FireDragon™ FireWire-B cameras are available in monochrome and color vision versions, extending the advantages of FireWire-B to almost any machine vision application. Many models deliver full-frame images up to 90 frames-per-second and resolutions ranging from VGA (640 x 480) to UXGA (1600 x 1200). Monochrome output can be set for 8 or 10 bit, while color output at either RGB 24 bit, YUV422 or YUV411. Camera CCD sizes are 1/3-inch, 1/2-inch, 1/1.8-inch or 2/3 inch.
