Real-Time Continuous Video Recording

In recent years, the data rates produced by digital video cameras used in application areas such as military testing, scientific research, remote sensing, industrial process recording and entertainment production have dramatically increased as camera sensor technology has advanced.

Our focus at IO Industries is to develop technology for real-time continuous video recording to hard disk at data rates that match today’s fastest digital cameras. We currently support recording from a single camera at data rates up to 1.25 GBytes per second.

The IO Industries DVR Express® line of video recorder cards provide a single PCI card solution for high-speed video capture direct to hard disk. These cards are ideal for continuous video recording to hard disk at high data rates over long durations.

Video Savant® and Streams™ software packages from IO Industries address a broad spectrum of video recording requirements. Whether it’s recording a single video camera in a lab, or several high-speed cameras at a rocket launch, IO Industries has software to handle the task. Capabilities extend to synchronized data recording from multiple devices such as GPS receivers, data acquisition cards, altimeters and navigational instruments.
