INDUSTRIAL PROGRESSIVE SCAN CCD
The latest model in the A-series of switchless progressive
scan industrial CCD cameras, the CV-A1 combines 1392x1040
resolution analog output with remote, switchless set-up capability
by means of an RS-232C interface. Designed for double speed
operation, the half-inch sensor can operate at 16 frames per
second, and partial scan/ binning allows that rate to reach
124 frames/sec. With the analog interface, the compact unit
(1.14"x1.73"x2.6") can be just one of several
cameras multiplexed at the frame grabber input; up to four
can be triggered and read in sequence. JAI AMERICA. Laguna

LIGHT-SENSITIVE DSP COLOR CAMERAS
The KP-D20A and KP-D20B DSP color cameras are light-sensitive
enough, despite their size, for work in medical imaging, microscopy
and industrial vision applications. Both units measure just
44x44x49mm; the A version offers a 1/3-inch microlens CCD
with minimum light sensitivity of 1.5 lux at f1.2; the B model
has a 1/2-inch microlens CCD with a sensitiivity of 1.0 lux
at the same f-stop. It uses CS or C-Mount lenses. A backlight
correction function allows compensation for a strong light
source or reflection. HITACHI DENSHI AMRICA. Woodbury, NY.
