The Schneider Group has introduced three new 12k 5.6/120 Line Scan lenses designed to enable vision system integrators and equipment manufacturers to utilize the industryís new ultra-high-resolution 12k line scan cameras.

Schneiderís all-new 12k Line Scan lenses, which are being sold under the companyís Makro-Symmar name, feature an image circle of up to 90mm and are optimized to provide optical resolution for the 7μ pixel size capabilities of 12k cameras. The large coverage area, high resolution, and ultra-low (0.1 percent) distortion rate of Schneiderís new lenses enable users to utilize the new 12k cameras to significantly improve productivity in surface and web inspection processes.

Schneider 12k Line Scan lenses are available in 0.5X, 0.75X, and 1:1 versions. All versions feature Schneiderís unique iris locking mechanism and an overall robust design, to ensure extremely reliable and precise measurements in even the harshest high-vibration manufacturing environments.
