MVTec Software GmbH (Munich, Germany) held international distributor training in Munich prior to launching HALCON 9.0 on Jan. 26.
Fifty-eight distribution engineers from 21 countries worldwide took part in this event. Topics included focused training in the comprehensive innovations of HALCON 9.0 as there are considerable speedups, especially for HALCON's automatic operator parallelization, unique new matching technologies for perspective distortions, further novelties for 3D vision, the processing of extremely large images of more than 32k x 32k pixels, and Halcon's enhanced usability.
