Every day new and more demanding high-flex machine vision applications are being developed. As the frame grabber and camera manufacturers develop new solutions for these rigorous applications, so too must the cable assembly manufacturer. Until recently, round cables were the only choice for these demanding applications. Intercon 1 is pleased to be able to provide our customers with a new choice, the Infini Flex™ Camera Link® cable assemblies featuring Gore™ Camera Link® High Flex Flat Cable.

This cable utilizes a quad construction laminated into a flat cable, providing for robust signal integrity over the life of the cable, resulting in worry-free performance. The nonparticulating ePTFE jacket is ideal for clean-room environments, while the flat construction allows for a bend radius as small as 50mm for the most demanding high-flex applications. Although designed with cable-carrier applications in mind, these assemblies can be used in many applications.
