Media Cybernetics Inc. announces the Version 2.0 release of IQmaterials software for metallographic and materials science quality control. IQmaterials turns users’ computers into sophisticated lab management systems by offering tools for analyzing, managing, archiving and reporting image data.
With IQmaterials, users can view, optimize and capture live images for immediate analysis or to revisit at a later date. Once images are captured, IQmaterials can be used to accurately perform grain size, percent area and particle size analysis according to ASTM and ISO guidelines.
IQmaterials includes a powerful image database that makes it easy to manage images and associated data, including measurements and related documents. Users can employ search tools to locate archived images using keywords, interactive graphics tools and context-sensitive searches and queries. Using IQmaterials, metallographers can find similar results across multiple groups of images, driving discovery and saving time and research efforts.
IQmaterials users can easily output their imaging research into a variety of formats for reporting and collaborating. Pre-installed templates allow users to customize and publish professional reports in a range of formats including Adobe® PDF, RTF, Microsoft® Word, Microsoft® Excel and HTML.
