Electrim Corporation announces the latest models of its EDC-3000 series CMOS sensor USB 2.0 computer cameras. Targeted for educational, technical, and scientific still image applications, the 1.3 Megapixel EDC-3000TC (color) and EDC-3000™ (monochrome) feature 1 millisecond to 2 second exposure time, at a frame rate of up to 3.75 frames per second.

The 1/2-inch format 1280x1024 5.2x5.2 micron array is read out at a bit depth of 8 bits per pixel. Dimensions of the rugged extruded aluminum enclosure are 65x43x43 mm and weight is 125g. The EDC-3000TC and EDC-3000™ are USB bus powered. No additional power is required. Standard C mount lenses are accepted. Mounting is a 1/4 inch standard tripod mount.
