The new ALR-1400 interface controller from Digital View is a highly integrated PC, DVI and Video interface controller for TFT LCD panels that provides an easy-to-use, plug-and-play solution for a range of basic monitor functions.
Designed for easy implementation, the ALR-1400 is designed to provide a compact, cost-effective, high-reliability, off-the-shelf solution for applications with high production volumes. It provides multi-panel support and is preloaded with a wide range of panel timings supporting virtually all major manufacturers’ panels. Its MTBF rating is over 200,000 hours, and it offers connectivity support for all current video standards.
The ALR-1400 is very compact, measuring only 107mm x 92mm, or 4.2”x3.6”. It supports 4:3 format panels up to SXGA and 16:9 format panels up to WXGA resolution, with Digital View’s ULI Universal LVDS Interface, enabling the ALR-1400 to handle the wide range of LVDS interfaces found in current LCD panels, as well as dual- or single-pixel TTL interfaces.
