Candelis, Inc., announces the addition of the ImageGrid™ 200 to its ImageGrid product line, and the general availability of the ImageGrid 700. The ImageGrid is a line of fully-integrated, Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) industry-standard server appliances that speed digital image access and routing, simplify image management, and provide highly-reliable storage and archive capabilities.
Purpose-built to meet the storage and archival requirements of single modality imaging clinics and multi-location imaging facilities supporting several modalities, the ImageGrid 200 and ImageGrid 700 server appliances are immediately available from Candelis for customer installation.
The ImageGrid 200 establishes a new entry-level DICOM-standard storage category by combining an industry-proven, enterprise-class operating system with a compact casing and versatile tower design.
Purpose-built for imaging clinics maintaining a single modality, such as cardiology, orthopedic, chiropractic and other imaging acquisition practices, the ImageGrid 200 affords cost-effective image management with robust hardware configuration using best-of-breed components and a Web-based user interface. The system features storage capacities of 250 or 500 gigabyte mirrored disk configurations and embedded PACS functionality that replaces complex servers and applications.
Ideal for imaging centers with multiple locations, the ImageGrid 700 serves as an “Image Delivery Gateway” for all DICOM-compliant imaging modalities with sophisticated image workflow management capabilities enabled by its grid architecture and replication engine.
