Whether for motion tracking in sports or for optimizing a manufacturing process, often a standard camera cannot provide high resolution pictures of quick events. For such purposes SVS-VISTEK has designed SVstream. With its high-speed digital image recorder, SVS-VISTEK offers a system that is able to record up to 1700 images/sec., store the images as stream and play them back. SVstream is compatible with cameras using such popular interface-technologies as GigE, CameraLink, FireWire, USB 2.0 and Standard-Video.
Similar to a standard video-recorder, SVstream can also display the recorded sequences either forward, backward or in a user defined speed (e.g. in slow motion).
Both the start of a sequence recording and single pictures can be triggered through an external signal.
A life-mode for set-up and focussing of the camera as well as a zoom-function are also available. Depending on size and speed of the hard disk that is used, sequences up to a length of one hour can be written either compressed or decompressed. Single pictures can be isolated from a sequence and can be stored for documentation purposes. SVS-VISTEK GmbH Seefeld, Germany www.svs-vistek.com
