Matrox Imaging announced the Matrox Vio Analog, the newest member of the Matrox Vio family of boards for video capture and display. Matrox Vio boards deliver superior quality and definition of state-of-the-art broadcast video to simulation, training and medical imaging markets.
The Matrox Vio Analog is a single platform capture card that supports analog HD/SD input and output. Some of its key features include low-latency video output (synchronized to the video input), 128-bit MB on-board memory, support for 20-bit video, automatic detection of the video source, and graphics overlay composition. The Matrox Vio Analog uses a x4 PCI Express® (PCIe™) host interface, enabling it to stream high-definition video to the host PC for archiving or from the host PC for playback.
