With the UI-1480-C model IDS presents the first uEye® camera in the 5-megapixel class. The 2560 x 1920 pixel resolution allows a very high level of detail in this CMOS sensor camera with rolling shutter and USB port.
The camera's flash support and global start shutter mode allow capture of even moving objects without any time delay. Up to six frames per second are possible in high-resolution full frame mode. With the double subsampling function the camera achieves 19 frames per second with a resolution of 1.3 megapixels.
Despite its high resolution, the new model is as ultra-compact as all the uEye® range. Only 34 x 32 x 27.4 mm in size and weighing just 62 grams, it features a C-mount lens connection, an external trigger input, a digital output and a USB 2.0 interface.
The powerful software package complete with software development kit is included in delivery as with all uEye models. Besides flexible tools and demo programs for easy configuration it provides drivers for Windows and Linux. The new camera supports driver version 2.22 and higher. Migrating to the 5-megapixel model does not require reprogramming the application-simply adapting the parameters. IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH Germany www.ids-imaging.de
