Henning also noted that there is still plenty of room for growth. "Mobile subscribers are expected to increase from two billion to more than three billion by the end of the decade, but that's still less than 50 percent of the estimated global population in 2009. Eighty percent of the world's population is currently covered by cellular networks -- a target market of five and a half billion people."
