Mercury signed a partnership agreement with Perfint Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd ., in Chennai, India , for the distribution of Visage PACS and Visage CS in the Southern Asian market. "We're pleased to cooperate with Mercury to open up new markets in Southern Asia," said Kannan Neelakanta, Director of Perfint Engineering Services. "We will integrate Visage PACS/CS in our product portfolio, thus offering a leading-edge 3D Thin Client Server solution that provides advanced 3D capabilities to any PC or workstation in the hospital -- and also to remote clients."

In addition, Mercury has expanded its worldwide base of installed PACS systems, with new installations of its web-based PACS offering. The company reported a recent milestone with its Australian PACS partner, the Medical Imaging PACS PTY Ltd., which will implement Visage PACS in several clinical sites.
