Mercury Computer Systems to Showcase Expanded Functionality of its 3D to the Core Platform

Mercury will also highlight a workflow optimization feature for VisagePACS 4.0 for modalities that produce ever-increasing volumes of data, such as CT (computed tomography) and MR (magnetic resonance). Visage PACS 4.0 now enables the user to display "Presentation States," which allow medical image data to be presented to clinicians in exactly the same way it was prepared by the interpreting radiologist or physician, including display parameters and annotations. In addition, Visage PACS 4.0 features improved integration with hospital and radiology information systems by means of IHE profiles and HL 7.
