DisplaySearch Announces Roundtable at US FPD 2006
-- Corning Display Technologies, Mr. James P. Clappin, President. Corning is the dominant supplier of glass substrates to the TFT LCD industry, and Mr. Clappin is responsible for the Display Technology division's future business growth, strategy and operations. He will also keynote the FPD Materials session on March 22, the second day of the conference.
-- Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO), Dr. Chen-Lung Kuo, Associate Vice President. CMO was the fourth largest large-area TFT LCD supplier on an area basis during the first three quarters of 2005. Dr. Kuo is responsible for the company's global sales and marketing.
-- AU Optronics. Executive to be announced. AUO was the #3 large-area TFT LCD supplier on an area basis in the first three quarters of 2005.
-- LG Philips LCD. Executive to be announced. LPL was the #1 large-area TFT LCD supplier on an area basis in 1H'05 and was #2 in Q3'05.
-- Samsung LCD Business. Executive to be announced. Samsung was the #1 large-area TFT LCD supplier on an area basis in Q3'05, rising from #2 in 1H'05.
