Hana reported a net profit of 619 million baht for the third quarter of this year, an increase of 30 percent from the same period of last year. It reported a 15 percent year-on-year increase in sales revenue to 3.43 billion baht from 2.98 billion baht.
The improvement was attributed to a 29 percent year-on-year increase in revenue from its microelectronics divisions, with a particularly strong performance from its operations in Shanghai, where sales rose 46 percent. Sales in the IC industry in the third quarter also rose by 16 percent.
Hana shares closed yesterday on the Stock Exchange of Thailand at 24.50 baht, unchanged, in trade worth 27.4 million baht.
