The increasing use of smaller chips with more functions, in mobile phones and MP3 players for example, will also benefit Hana.
Currently, Hana supplies chips to large manufacturers such as Nokia, Samsung and for Apple's iPod.
Expansion in these industries will boost the sales volume for parts suppliers, but their growth could also produce lower margins as competition heats up.
The costs of raw materials, such as gold, plastic and metal are also on the increase, so Hana is focusing on niche products which offer high margins.
However, the company aims to expand the market share of its existing divisions to cope with lower margins, as in its custom products group (CPG), said Mr Han.
